Eureka has completed a task that was nearly 6 months in the making. We have upgraded our network infrastructure and partnered with Nuvox to receive a better telephone solution. While this step has major implications for the future of Eureka’s network and communication system, some of the benefits are already noticeable:

I would like to thank all of my fellow Eureka employees for their patience and input during the past several months as this project was very expansive and extremely important. I would also like to thank Woody Valls, Paul Falter and the team over at ComOne for coordinating this entire project. Additionally, Bruce Fitzgerald, John Durnin, and Justin Beauvais at Hunt Brothers provided integral support for the internet and data setup. Meanwhile, none of this could have been done without the help and products that are offered by Nuvox.
It took all of these people working together to accomplish this goal with minimal service interruptions during the course of normal business. The scope and depth of what was accomplished combined with the few minutes of total network downtime is a testament to the level of cooperation, professionalism and customer service that each of these companies offer.
